Welcome to the Social inequalities in ageing (SIA) network’s official website. This is a networking website of the former SIA project, which was one of five projects to get funded under the call for Nordic research projects on the inequitable distribution of health and welfare by NordForsk in 2015. In 2022, a 3- year network grant on Social Inequalities in Ageing was awarded from the Swedish Research Council for Health, Working Life and Welfare (Forte) to run this network support. The new network support enables an important continuation of the capacity building in social ageing research that we have implemented within the SIA programme.
